Psycho-Pass 2
I know a lot of people are shitting on the second season saying that the animation is bad and that the writing is terrible, but I'm actually enjoying the second season quite a lot. I absolutely love Akane's character and I think she has shown tremendous development from where she started. I still can't stand Mika as she just continues to make herself increasingly unlikable, almost my every single decision she makes. But I guess all shows have that one irritating character you want to go away and die. Kamui is an intriguing villain and now that they've identified the holos, I'm interested to see how that plays out.
Fairy Tail 2014
I'm not a huge fan of filler arcs, and this one is no exception, but I do have to say that I can stand it better than The Key to the Starry Sky arc and the Daphne arc. However, these battle between the Fairy Tail wizards and the Celestial spirits are just disappointing. First Elfman defeating Taurus with his sweat was just plain disgusting and also really lame. Then Wendy's battle with Aquarius turned into a childish shouting battle as Wendy ran away from Aquarius as she destroyed the amusement park. Just because Wendy is still young, doesn't mean she's not powerful, and I think that if Wendy put her all into the battle, she could've beaten Aquarius easily. I did not approved her having to be saved by a random Natsu that just HAD to randomly appear, because apparently the writers think that Wendy can't fend for herself and that Natus has to play a part in every single battle. I'm hoping that Cana's fight with Scorpio next week will be more interesting and entertaining.
Legend of Korra
This episode was disappointing to say the least, but even the writers told us not to expect a lot. They were forced to write a recap episode and they did their best with it. Mako and Korra's parts were very boring to say the least and really didn't do anything other than very badly quickly summarize the last three seasons. However, the episode was somewhat saved by Varrick's part. It was entertaining and hilarious, and the whole episode would've been a lot better if Varrick had narrated the whole thing.

Anime Review: Durarara!!
This is my first anime
review, and I will be reviewing the anime series Durarara!!
Warning. Slight Spoilers
Ahead.
This was one of the first animes I ever watched, as my friend
who got me into anime highly recommended it. The only reason I really watched
it was because of her high opinion of it. I will have to admit, that by just
going off the description of Durarara!! on Crunchyroll, I probably would have
never watched it. Crunchyroll describes it as “Mikado Ryugamine is a young man
who yearns for the city like no other. At the invitation of his childhood
friend, Masaomi Kida, he moves to Ikebukuro, Tokyo and enters school there.”
This describes what happens in about the first two minutes of the first
episode. Even though this is a true description of the anime, it leaves much to
be desired.
I will do my best to give my own
description of it, although with this particular anime it is very hard. There
is so much that happens in the anime and so many great characters developed
personalities, it’s hard to sum it up concisely.
Mikado Ryugamine moves to Ikebukuro in
search of adventure in order to attend school with his childhood best friend
Masaomi Kida. While in the city Masaomi introduces him to the many interesting
and dangerous people that inhibit Ikebukuro and strange events that occur.
Before long, a string of events all unfold around a mysterious “black rider”
igniting mind games, gang wars, and action packed confrontations.
Durarara starts off slow, taking its
times introducing all of the intriguing characters and their motives. But once
the plot picks up, it’s a never ending ride that will keep you on the end of
your seat guessing on what you think will happen next, but always throwing in a
mind blowing plot twist right when you think you know what’s going on.
I immediately fell in love with most
of the characters and their quirky personalities and strange motives. I am
personally a huge fan of Shizou who claims to hate violence but constantly goes
around throwing street signs and vending machines at every opportunity. And it’s
hard not to love Simon, the black Russian sushi selling man who seems to fill
every culture stereotype there is.
The one thing about Durarara that I
loved is the fact that it takes so many elements that you wouldn’t think would
fit together and makes them fit together perfectly. You have a mythical Irish
creature riding around on a motorcycle searching for her head, while a school
girl creates an army using a cursed blade, all unfolding while a war between
color gangs brews and the world’s strongest men throw vending machines and
street signs at each other in the street. Of course you also can’t forget the corrupt
pharmaceutical company who kidnaps people off the street, the black Russian man
who sells sushi for a living, and the crazy man who wears a fur coat who seems
to be mastering minding every single event that unfolds.
Overall, Durarara can be seen as a
slice of life anime but inserted with fantasy, adventure, action, and mystery. It’s
the perfect time to watch this anime since a season two comes out in January!
My
Rating: A+

Here are some regular postings that I will be hoping to make.

Manga review
The same thing as an anime review but for manga! There will be some manags you've probably never heard before since I like to find hidden gem one's that don't get a lot of attention. I will post all of the manags I review under the manga tab along with a place where you can read it!
Ongoing Manga/anime reaction
I watch/read a lot of ongoing mangas/animes so I would like to do a little end of the week post on the new episodes of the week and what I thought about it. Feel free to comment on these posts so we can talk about our opinions and reaction to the newest episodes and chapters. Warning. Spoilers ahead. Animes you can look forward to hearing about: Psycho-Pass 2, Fairy Tail 2014, Legend of Korra (not really an anime, but it sort of counts) and Durarara!!x2 and Tokyo Ghoul 2 in the future. Manga's you can look forward to hearing about: Fairy Tail and Tokyo Ghoul. Feel free to leave me suggestions on anything you think I should watch and react to! I might also include the parody series 50% Off by Octopimp and SparkytheAndroid and Dangan Ronpa Abridged Thing by Falauro.
Other random things
Other things that I might post on here include dance covers to Vocaloid/Kpop/Jpop songs, English/Japannese covers of anime openings or endings, fanfictions, Kawaii Box/Japan Crate unboxings, reviews from conventions, and hauls of my anime merchandise.
I hope you guys will enjoy this blog and stick around to hang out and fangirl with me!
